GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
We have the receipts for the stern drive replaced last year at
a cost of $5,602.00. The trailer was completely serviced in early
September when the 4 new trailer tires, axle bearings and a new
axle shaft were installed. New antifouling paint was applied to
the hull in June, a new prop was installed in September and the
boat has only been used once this year as the seller has no time
to use the boat. The boat is equipped with the lines, bumpers,
anchor, GPS, VHF radio, shorepower, hot water and other features
found on cruisers of this size.
We see lots of 24' - 27' cruisers of this era and we can honestly
say the boat is in nicer condition than 1987, 1988 and 1989 Doral
Citations that we have seen in the last couple of years ... in
fact ... there are a few on the internet that we refused to list
due to their physical and mechanical condition. There is really
good value here when you consider the cost of replacing a stern
drive on boats of this age and the cost of a trailer ... included
with this sale. Having a trailer for a boat this size can save
you hundreds of dollars by storing the boat in a driveway instead
of a marina ... and you can visit any waterway that you want within
hours. Any half ton pickup with any size V8 motor will easily
tow this boat.
