Our "Facebook" page was created November 27th, 2011, with the intention of using social media to assist boat buyers to find boats-for-sale using the social media website that they visit most often. We also wanted our profile, listings, photos and showing-appointments to be automatically sent to the buyers that have become "Our Friends" on the Facebook website.

We also know that MANY boat owners use "Facebook" to keep in touch with each other throughout the year and especially in the off-season. Many boaters look forward to getting together at the Toronto Boat Show or at dinner outings over the winter. In virtually EVERY marina there will be boats bought and sold and our use of "Facebook" can help those boats sell quickly to boaters in that area that also use "Facebook" ... the #1 Social Networking website.

Boating is such a relaxed "social" activity. What could be more relaxing than enjoying down-time on your boat or the dock next to it ... whether that be at a marina or a lock or town you are visiting for the day or night. While there, more-often-than-not, you will be chatting with other boaters enjoying the same relaxing time that you are. We know that boaters considering a larger boat will often mention this and the people there will chat about boats that they know of that the buyer could consider. They will discuss boats they know are for sale (if any) and websites where boats can be found ...and we want as many boaters as possible to know about our website and our used boat listings.

Between April 20th and November 15th we mention all of our new boat listings on our Facebook page ... usually several days before the listing is posted to our website or any other website. Anyone in the market for a boat similar to the one we are listing is certainly welcome to view the boat on the day we take the photos of the boat if they wish.

We are doing the most that can be done to market our listings on the internet ... because the internet is where buyers go to buy boats.
Our boat listings contain more photos of the boats than most other websites do, our listing pages are easier to navigate than other boat-for-sale websites
and our listings appear on 5 or more websites and we add up-dates to our Facebook profile frequently for viewers to see while they are on Facebook.
