GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
This
boat is as clean as any 1997, 1998 or 1999 Larson 270 Cabrio for
sale anywhere ... and it is being sold equipped with the lines,
anchor, bumpers, all life saving and emergency gear ... the dishes,
pots & pans and linens. You won't need a $1,000.00 trip to
Canadian Tire after buying this boat.
The ever popular Bravo 3 Mercury
Duo prop outdrive was replaced in 2012. A brand new stern drive
and 2 new stainless props were installed by Birchpoint Marina
in July 2013 ... where the boat has been serviced and stored
for more than the last 10 years. Hot/cold water, ac/dc fridge,
microwave ... and all the other standard features are included
of course and they are all in perfect working order. The 5.7
liter Mercruiser engine has a 2 barrel fuel injection system
... not the 4 barrel version. With the Bravo 3 duo-prop stern
drive this boat hops up on plane like any 27 footer with a 350
- 4 barrel ... and cruises at 24 - 27 MPH for alot less than
a 350 - 4 barrel. Did we mention the engine has less than 600
hours on it?
Newer canvas is incorporated into the radar arch making the
top both a great height and less likely to leak in the heaviest
of rains .... the anti-fouling paint was redone in 2012 ...
and the head is "electric ... not the "manual"
pump model. The stereo has controls at the helm as well as below
... and there are both a VHF and GPS at the helm as well.
Perhaps the nicest feature in the cabin is the completely open
mid-cabin design. Persons staying over or simply wishing to
stretch out for awhile need not climb through some little access
area to get into the rear cabin ... and this makes the entire
below area seem much larger than the cabins of other 27 foot
cruisers.
Roomy cabin, wrap around lounge seating, compact galley, convertible
dinette, stand up head with shower ... and the bi-level cockpit
has reversible helm seat, swivel companion seat, transom door
and a walk through windshield. All this in a 1999 model ...
with a newer stern drive and stainless props ... the best fuel
economy available in this size of family cruiser ... and priced
right at just $24,900.00. Perfect.
The semi-retired couple that own the boat will not consider
a boat "in trade"..
