GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
The
broker has known the current owners since they bought this boat
as they moor in the same marina as him. Every fall and spring
the boat has a complete cleaning, compounding and waxing ... but
the owner lost his left leg in August 2016 ... and now wants to
get a houseboat that would be much easier for him to board and
use. The boat was surveyed in June 2017 and reported to be in
average condition.
This is a very popular Carver model. The
model is the 3467 ... but the overall length is over 38 feet ...
and the 13 foot 3 inch beam makes the boat both very stable in
larger waters and extremely roomy in every area of the boat. The
full sunbrella top stretches from the front of the helm to the
rear of the aft cockpit area ... and was installed in September
of 2017. This boat will sell quickly as it is priced in Canadian
dollars, already here in Ontario, and very well equipped for longer
stays onboard.
The boat is equipped with a genny, windlass,
heat/air, radar, auto helm, tv, AM/FM/CD with remote control in
berth area, large refridgerator, 3 burner stove and an oven.
There is a generous abundance of storage space on board, seating
for 8 adults in the helm area, a large rear cockpit area, seperate
shower, electric flush head and a seperate washroom entrance from
v-berth. Of special note is the walk-thru from the helm to the
bow area of the boat. This is a terrific feature when you are
passing through locks and/or docking. Using the walk-thru is far
faster, safer and easier than walking along the side walkways
... and the walk-thru is one of the features that makes this model
so popular and sought after.
