GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
We received this boat May 11th/22. Inside and out you would think
that it was detailed last week! This boat could be in a showroom!
The upholstery is very recent and in excellent condition ... everywhere.
The sunbrella top was waterproofed last week ... it is 2 years
old ... but could pass for one year old. The sunbrella cockpit
cover is the same ... like new. The windows are as close to perfect
as barely used windows could be. There are sundrella "wraps"
that go on any bar that a window could touch ... so the windows
won't mark against the bars. The carpetting in the cabin is amazing
for a 30 year old boat ... as is the head ... clean and scuff-free.
The trailer is a 2011 or 2012 ... I have the trailer ownership
along with the vessel registration. The triaxle bunk trailer has
3 - 3,000 lb. axles with surge brakes on the front 2.
The owner and myself took the boat for a sea trial after a 10
minute warm-up ... its 1st since the winterizing last fall. The
boat has been professionally maintained for the last many years.
Notice the very low hours on the powertrain and that this boat
has Mercruiser power ... not OMCs.
The boat started and ran as it should. I took it up to 1,500 rpms
for 30 seconds ... no issues with water temp or oil pressure ...
time to go!
The boat planed easily with the tabs down when I took the rpms
to about 3,700. I backed off to 3,300 rpms ... raised the tabs
... the bow raised ... and we were doing about 25 mph
if you can believe the little pressure senson hanging off the
stern. The ride was absent of squeaks and cracking sounds the
whole time we were out.
What doesn't work? One trim-tab indicator. Big deal. If you need
a guage to tell you where your tabs are ... well ...
There are no abrasive marks on the edges of the swim platform
or anywhere else that I could see.
Notice there is no antifouling paint on the hull ... which is
as white as the sides of the boat. Like I said ... this boat could
be in a showroom.
The lower photos were taken about 6:30 p.m. as the sun was low
... so the lowest photos aren't the best ... but you should be
able to tell this boat is a 10+.
