DESCRIPTION:

boat is in terrific shape and could easily be priced higher ...
but the seller is motivated ... so someone is getting a great
deal here.
The boat top is less than one year old and the interior is less
than 2 years old. The popular economical 4.3 V6 engine has 828
hours on it and the boat has been professionally marina-serviced
all of its life.
This model boat was extremely popular from the moment it was introduced
in 1985. It is easily trailerable, has a large stand-up cabin
and a standup head like only 2 or 3 manufactures offered back-in-the-day.
In fact ... few manufacturers offer a smaller cruiser this a standup
cabin and no aft cabin even today. You will find this model advertised
as a 22', a 23' and a 24' boat ... but there is only one "Tara"
hull ... they are all the same boat. The length overall is 24
feet.
The Tara was introduced by Doral in 1985 and was an instant success.
Between 1985 and 1990 it was a sales leader in the smaller cruiser
market and today you will still find lots of them still happily
being enjoyed by their owners here in Ontario and throughout North
America. The 1985, 1986, 1987, 1989 and 1990 models are hard to
tell apart. Doral had a winner in this model and made very few
changes to it over the years.
