A VERY RARE BOAT INDEED.
Back in the mid 1980's there was a company right here in Ontario
that built these tugboats and sold them to consumers who custom-made
their cabin and helm areas.
This is one such boat ... and it is finished very very nicely
... and has a terrifc layout designed to accomodate the owners
and their guests by day or overnight.
At 1,900 RPM the boat cruises at about 7 knots on the GPS ...
using about 3/4 gallons of diesel fuel per hour. The boat can
carry up to 100 gallons of diesel fuel, 50 gallons of fresh water
and 100 liters in the holding bladder.
The boat can sleep 7 ... 1 queen bed, 1 single berth, 1 double
sofa and one smaller double berth. The Optimus cooker (oven) burnes
natural gas, the boat has a Nova Cool fridge, new upholstery in
2014, 1 new battery 2015, 2 new batteries 2014, new engine water
pump 2015, new "house" water pump 2014, a new toilet
installed in 2014, the transmission was rebuilt in 2013, new impeller
and thermostat 2015, new rear canopy 2013 and the lighting was
upgraded to LED lighting in 2014.
