GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
SOLD!
The Carver 2827 was built between 1985 and 1990 and called "Voyager"
and later "Mariner". They were a terrific seller offering
an 11' 1" beam and a spacious upper helm.
They have the same hull as the "Mariner" models of the
same era ... and all 3 versions were extremely popular.
The upper helm has seating for 8 or more adults and this particular
boat has a Garelick captains chair rather than the stock bench
seat. The windows are recent and there are screens that can replace
the side 2 window panels allowing for terrific cross ventilation.
There is a new GPS and a Garmin depth sounder at the helm.
The cockpit exits to a huge custom made swimplatform where the
included barbeque mounts. Inside the cockpit is easily large enough
for a table and 2 very comfortable chairs. The
side window panels in that area can be replaced with screens too!
Also in that area is the tankless propane water heater that feeds
the boat and swimplatform mounted washdown.
The cabin has newer cloth cushions and newer beige carpetting,
the galley table converts to a sleeping area as does the couch
opposite the galley eating area. The front berth is a great size
for 2 adults and offers terrific storage and a sink with hot and
cold water faucet. This boat can easily sleep 4 average sized
adults or 2 adults and 4 children. The head is a good size for
adults, is larger than you'll find in 28' express cruisers, and
has a shower faucet as well of course. There is a 2.7 meter dinghy
and 2008 3.5 h.p. Mercury 4 stroke motor included with this sale
and the slip in Belleville is paid for the season and available
to the new boat owner at no cost.
Feel free to compare this boat to others advertised on YachtWorld.com
or BoatDealers.ca and remember that the price of this boat is
in Canadian Dollars and is already in Ontario.
The engines had compression tests done this spring and the compression
in all cylinders was almost to factory specifications ... both
engines have contained synthetic oil for about the last 10 or
more years. Note ... the engines are "Crusaders" ...
not Mercs or Volvos. This boat is properly priced, in great condition
and will sell quickly.
