GENERAL
DESCRIPTION:
The 1974, 1975 and 1976 Trojan 36 Tri Cabin has for years been
an extremely popular liveaboard motor yacht in many Canadian
marinas. All 3 years are virtually identical.
The engine hour meters show about 19800 hours but the previous
marina that stored the boat will confirm engine overhauls just
a few year ago ... and very few hours since.
The boat is powered by a pair of 351 cu. in. Windsor V8's, a
new Rochester carburetor on one engine last year when the new
distributor caps, points, wires and spark plugs were installed,
the boat has a 6.5 Onan generator, fresh cabin cushions were
added last season as was the new Garmin Chart Plotter, the swim
platform was refinished, there is new cabin flooring, the antifouling
was re-done in 2017, both fuel tanks were evacuated and cleaned
in 2016 due to contaminated fuel ... and the sunbrella top,
windows and screens are in great shape.
The boat is currently moored about 15 minutes north of Cobourg
along the Trent Severn Waterway so taking it to Toronto or Durham
Region will be simple after the Trent opens.
The last survey was performed April 29th, 2014 ... values the
boat at $25,000.00 ... and it's very possible a new owners insurance
company may accept that survey for coverage.
